Continental Airlines to Now Charge for Meals in Economy Class on Domestic United States Flights

Continental Airlines was the lone holdout where they still offered complimentary meals in the economy class cabin on domestic flights in the United States — that is, until Tuesday, October 12, 2010, which is when Continental Airlines will unveil its new meals and snacks service. “Prices will range from $1.50 for Pringles Original Potato Crisps to $8.25 for the grilled chicken spinach salad,” according to a news release posted on the Continental Airlines Internet web site.
